Work Placement Scheme

“The overarching aim of the project is to help unemployed young Black Africans into meaningful and satisfying
jobs that are commensurate with their background and aspirations.”

To ensure that the project achieves its mission, the programme is subdivided into three
separate yet complimentary strategic to improve the Employability of Participants, increase
the Participants Capacity to Manage their Job-Hunting Tasks; and reduce some of the
Barriers to Employment that Young Black People experience.

We have developed strong working relationship with organisations and companies and we
are widening our links and widely publicising the scheme so that we can increase
participants number and place as many young blacks into placements/jobs.
This enabled us to match and place Trainees into the appropriate participating
organisations, after weeks of teaching and preparations sessions.
