Structure

The organisation has a Management Committee, paid staff, and a pool of dedicated
volunteers.
Our Management Committee comes from all walks of life. All are educated to degree level
and bring various skills and experience and donate their time in the organisation to help
others. They bring amongst other skills: Human Resource and Financial Management;
Safeguarding Children & vulnerable adults; Organisational Development Support and
Project Management; Research; Teaching; Monitoring and Evaluation. They all have
experience of working with disadvantaged groups such as refugees and asylum seekers,
ethnics minorities, vulnerable young people and adults both in the Voluntary and
Mainstream statutory environment. They are enthusiastic, flexible and always willing to
learn new skills.

 

The organisation does, from time-to-time employ more sessional workers, depending on
projects being implemented.

 

The organisation has a Safeguarding Children and Children and vulnerable adults Policy,
which is brought to the attention of all staff, sessional workers and volunteers, and is
reviewed an updated yearly alongside all other policies. All staff and volunteers working
with children, young people and vulnerable adults are subject to a Disclosure Barring service
(DBS) checks.
